This wonderful early Edwardian cross was hand crafted in 9 karat gold in Birmingham, England in the year 1901. It is fully hallmarked including the ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9 karat gold and the makers mark ‘C&Co’.
This cross measures 40 mm from top to bottom including the bale and 20.8 mm across at the widest point. The cross is hollow and it does have a bit of discoloration along the seam as well as a few dings, I kind of loved it anyway, in its simplicity and beauty. The price reflects the condition. This lovely old cross weighs 1.9 grams.
