French Art Deco Columbian Emerald Diamond Cluster Ring

This sparkling vintage platinum stunner was handcrafted around 1930 in France. It was crafted in 18 karat white gold with a platinum top. The ring features a large, natural Columbian Emerald which is multi prong set and surrounded by a halo of Old European cut diamonds. The narrow half round band approaches a low cathedral mount with a curved open gallery. The Emerald measures 9.1 x. 8.4 x. 4.4 mm, the weight calculated in the mount at 2.3 carats; this stone comes with an AGL report which states that the Emerald is natural and of Columbian origin with only minor treatment. Each of the 14 diamonds measures approximately 2.5 mm in diameter and the total weight is 1 carat, graded at E-F color and VS1-SI2 (mostly VS). The ring is marked with the French mask and owl marks, weighs 6.2g and is a size 7US. The full appraised value of this ring is $50,000. Copies of the appraisal and AGL report are available upon request.
