Art Deco Diamond Cluster Bypass Ring 18k

$ 2,250.00

This ring skates along the border of styles and ages. Made in the heady days between the two major World Wars, this early Art Deco era ring showcases new metal working, diamond cuttings and setting techniques while still holding onto the more Edwardian style of a light and airy ring in a bypass style.

This beauty was hand crafted around 1920-30 of 18 karat gold. Made in England, it is marked with a makers mark of ’T.H&S’ and is also marked for 18 karat gold, the town of manufacture has been lost to resizing over the years and letter code E is still present but without the town code we can’t know the year it represents.

This wonderfully sparkly ring is set with 9 Old European and transitional cut diamonds which are each prong set, the center cluster is set in platinum and the two side stones in gold. This ring measures 8 mm north to south and 14 mm across, it sits 3 mm off the finger and narrows to 1.9 mm at the back of the band. This size 5 ring could be resized to suit, it weighs 3. 1 grams.
