This fantastic Edwardian tie pin was hand crafted in about 1910 in 15 karat gold and platinum. The brooch features a long riding crop in gold with platinum accents topped with the head and face of a cheeky fox. This pin measures 58 mm across and 17 mm from north to south, it weighs 6.8 grams. The pin is marked to the reverse with ’15ct’ for the gold and has a makers mark of ‘A & W’.
While perfectly suitable for a woman, this is a brooch that was mostly certainly made for a man.
