Antique Edwardian 5 Stone Sapphire Diamond Ring 18K, Hallmarked

Sapphires and diamonds are undoubtedly lovely, but it’s the fabulous design of the 18 karat gold band that gives this ring an edge. It’s vibrant, perfectly symmetric, and really fun to wear (and look at)!

This elegant piece was handcrafted in Birmingham, England in 1911. It features three deep blue sapphires and two sparkly diamonds framed in 18 karat gold. The center stone measures 3 x 3 mm and the two sapphires on each side measure 2.5 x 2.5 mm. The diamonds measure 2 mm and .04 carats total weight. The ring overall measures 8 mm north to south, 15 mm wide and sits 3.1 mm off the finger. The band narrows to 2.8 mm at the back. This charming ring is fully hallmarked with the English crown, ’18’, Birmingham's anchor, the date mark ‘m’, and the maker’s mark, ‘H.W.Ld’. This golden delight weighs 3 grams and is a size 5.75 US.

This is a beautiful ring with great character!
