Antique Edwardian 5 Diamond Ring Old European Cushion Cut Engagement

It’s a bit opulent, yes, but tough times call for more diamonds, if you ask me. Add sunlight and let the magnificent play of light and color and giant flashes of sparkle work their soothing magic on your soul. See if you don’t feel just that much better, see if your breath doesn’t slow, your mind relax. Yes, there are times in life when opulent is okay. This is one of those times.

This phenomenal ring was hand crafted in about 1910 during the Edwardian era. It is set with 5 Old European cushion cut diamonds which truly illustrate why gem dealers use the word ‘lively’ when describing some stones. These lively stones weigh about 1.80 carats altogether, the center is about .60 carats, the next larger 2 are about .40 each and the smallest about .20 each. The stones are set in platinum and the back of the ring is done in 18 karat gold, it’s been acid tested and is marked with ‘18ct’. The face of this ring measures 6 mm north to south and 20 mm across, it sits 5.6 mm off the finger and narrows to 1.8 mm at the back of the band. This size 8.25 ring weighs 2.9 grams.

Now, I’m not saying that diamonds like these will cure all that ails you, I’m just saying that they might help you see the sunshine through the rain.
