The beautiful moonstones in this ring have wonderful blue adularescence. The stones have been measured and weigh about 1.5 carats in the center and .9 carats on each side for a total weight in moonstone of 3.3 carats. The face of this ring measures 10.3 mm north to south and 18.5 mm across, it sits 4.7 mm off there finger and narrows to 2.4 mm at the back of the band. The ring is marked with ‘9ct’ for 9 karat gold and a makers mark of ‘D&F’. This size 6 ring weighs 3.2 grams. This ring was almost certainly made in England right around the turn of the (last) century, around 1900-1910.
