This stunning 18 karat gold collar necklace was made in Belgium around 1915-1920, and represents the transition of the Art Nouveau design movement into the Art Deco era. The shape of these links is exceedingly pleasing to the eye, and incorporates both the nature inspired motif of the Nouveau period and the more geometric design aesthetic of the Deco era. Measuring 17 inches long, it's meant to hang in just that perfect spot between your collar bones. It weighs 9.9 grams and though the marks are difficult to make out, it tests as solid 18 karat gold and was likely made in Belgium.
A fabulous collar that will take you from office to out on the town. Every European lady of any means had a gold collar like this one, and so should you. Classic, perfect, luxury.
