Antique Moonstone Demantoid Garnet Ring Silver Arts and Crafts Era

One year I grew brussels sprouts in my garden. When I planted the little seedlings at the end of one of my raised beds, I have to admit that I had no idea how big these plants would get, as it turns out these plants get huge! I remember how few sprouts we got that were actually edible, but how beautiful the giant blue green leaves of the plant were. They always seemed to have a special glow by moonlight when I would take a midnight stroll down my garden paths. This ring reminds me of that summertime garden glow, the deep green of the garnets, the bright glow of the stone, the scatter of flowers, shining silver in the moonlight.

This wonderful Arts and Crafts era ring was hand crafted around 1900. The silver ring is set with a most beautiful blue glowing moonstone of some 3.07 carats and is accented with 12 green demantoid garnets, each 2x2 mm in size. The face of this ring measures 22 mm north to south and 18 mm across, it is a size 6.25 and weighs 6.1 grams. This ring is unmarked and tests as silver.
