These rings are getting SO hard to find, so I was absolutely delighted to come across this The Victorians were so sentimental, especially when it came to jewelry, and often they would spell out the word ‘DEAREST’, ‘REGARD’ or ‘ADORE’ using gem stones. These rings were often used as engagement rings or tokens of true love. This wonderful ring bears a sentiment of Adoration. The initial letters of each gem's name spell out the word ‘ADORE’: Amethyst, then Diamond, Opal, Ruby, and Emerald.
This wonderful hand crafted ring was made in England in 1880 of 15 karat gold and is set with an amethyst, diamond, opal, ruby, emerald and four small white pearls.
