Victorian Rose Gold Band Ring Ferns

Sometimes it’s the bling-y, diamond-y, bright as flashbulbs pieces that grab my attention and my excite my eyes, but other times it’s pieces just like this one, the sweet and simple band elevated to the next level. Ornate patterns and beautifully realized ferns can be just as eye-catching in their own way!

This hand crafted ring was made in Birmingham, England in 1892. It’s a lovely example of Victorian sentimentality, the fern symbolized sincerity and they were also very popular as potted house plants. This beauty measures 8.6 mm north to south at the front and sits 1.6 mm off the finger, it narrows to 4.5 mm at the back of the band.
