Antique Victorian Silver Bangle c. 1880

On my last trip over the pond I found this silver masterpiece at Portobello market on a snowy Saturday morning. I’ll be honest with you, I almost missed it as I was bee-lining for a café (a girls gotta have her coffee, after all) when I stopped dead in my tracks and bought this beauty. I wore it that night with a light blue cashmere dress and knee high fleece-lined boots and my, oh my, did the compliments come my way.

This antique Victorian silver bangle was handcrafted in England around 1880. It features an embossed and repoussé fleur-de-lis motif with swirling and dotted details on the front. It measures 41 x 53 x 5.4 and weighs 19.1 grams. This bracelet measures 7.5 inches in length. It has been acid tested.

The thing about bangles is that they can be dressed up or dressed down. Try a sundress and a tan with this silver bauble, pure perfection.
