Antique Victorian 9k Gold Locket Shield Garter

This wonderful golden locket in beautifully engraved with a shield and grater on one side and a scrolling fern like plant on the other. It is hand crafted in 9 karat gold in England in about 1880. The locket measures 35 mm north to south including the bale and 21 mm across. This locket opens to reveal space for two photos, it is not hallmarked but tests as 9 karat gold, it weighs 4.6 grams.
