Antique Victorian Collar Necklace Wide Fringe Sterling Silver

$ 1,550.00

No one did silver like the Victorians. I’m not gonna say it was the plastic of the era, but silver was used for just about everything from holding candles to storing creams and powders to serving ware and of course, jewelry, jewelry, and more jewelry.

This is my absolute favorite kind of Victorian silver, a fabulous collar that is a little bit more extraordinary than your average neckpiece. This one can be worn a myriad of ways, it is fully engraved on one side and silky smooth on the other, it has a hidden clasp which can be worn front or back and it has a hanger so that you can drop a bauble off of it if you want to dress it up with that something extra.

This sterling silver beauty was hand crafted in England in about 1880. It measures 16 inches long and is fully articulated and velvety soft. The collar is 21.5 mm wide and 3.8 mm thick, it has no marks and has been carefully acid tested; it weighs 60 grams.

I offer a 3-5 payment layaway on most items purchased for full retail price, please inquire if you are interested in setting up a layaway. Items ship when payment is complete and items purchased or payments made on layaway are eligible for store credit only.
