Diamonds are addictive. Old cut diamonds are even more addictive. One diamond is good, two diamonds is better, three diamonds are sublime. One for you, one for me, one for us. One for past, one for present, one for future. Call it what you will, I call it perfection.
This three stone ring is a bit of an enigma. It is hallmarked with '18ct' and 'PLAT', and I'm not entirely certain if it's 18 karat white gold with a platinum setting or if it's 18 karat yellow under a heavy plating of white, cutting into to find out doesn't seem like a good option, so I'll just allow it to be a mystery. Dating this ring is a challenge, too, if it wasn't engraved with a date of '25.7.43', and if the gold was most certainly yellow, I'd probably call it Edwardian, circa 1915. It's set with three lively Old European cut diamonds which add up to about 1 carat total weight. It's quite possible that this ring was engraved and plated years after it was made, but with this particular ring, it's just not possible to know for sure. The inside band reads 'J.S.W. TO A.E.C.' and the date. The ring is a size 7.5 and could be resized to suit, it measures 5.4 mm north to south and 14 mm across at the face, and sits 5 mm off the finger. This ring weighs 2.8 grams.
Are you looking for a perfect engagement ring? A fabulous new-mommy gift? An Anniversary treat? Look no further than this bright and lively, super sparkly ring!
It was all in a glance, the way she turned her head when she thought she heard her name across the room. Her eyes gazed around, searching. The silver abalone ring around her finger reflected light from the bright chandelier, just for a second, as she shifted. The abalone took on a life of its own, shining like moving water from the inside. She turned back to her conversation, as if nothing had happened.
This vintage silver abalone ring was handcrafted in Denmark by Carl Ove Fryensburg. It was crafted around 1950-60 with a round shimmery and colorful slice of abalone shell. This ring is a size 7 and it weighs 7.7 grams. The ring face measures 18.8 x 19 x 10.8 mm off the finger and the band width is 7 mm at the back. It bears the silver fineness mark, “STERLING”, the origin mark, “DEMARK” and the maker’s mark, “COF”.
This retro ring sits high on the finger, like a statement piece should.
A man in cufflinks is a man who has gone the extra mile. A man who believes in the value of a well cut suit, a man who wears a vintage Cartier watch because he wants to, not because he needs it to tell him the time.
Sterling silver cufflinks with a mod look. These handmade hight style links were made in London in 1973 and are fully hallmarked with the city code, letter date, '935' for sterling and the makers mark JSH (or JSW?). I didn't have them polished, but I could, they have some light tarnishing around the insides, let me know if you'd like them to look like new and I'll have them shined up. They weigh 17.6 grams.
Very well turned out, just like you.

We had a party to celebrate her new status a citizen of the United States. We hung streamers and banners in red, white and blue and gave her a sash to wear in the same colors. She beamed, her eyes dancing with light, her sweet face graced with pride.
She had the soul of a writer and a more varied and interesting life than most can even imagine. She spoke four languages, fluently. She was born in Russia but lived parts of her life in various parts of the United States, lectured and wrote at Princeton, she lived in the UK, too, visited Switzerland, India and more. She married a famous architect and lived with him for a time. He bought her jewels. This was one of them. She was my friend and I was honored to know her, she was kind and funny and wicked smart.
This fabulously hand crafted bracelet was made in the mid-late 1960’s. It’s so beautifully made that I thought for sure it must be by some famous designer, but it bears no marks and my research turned up only some vague ideas. It is a gloriously heavy length of 80.82 grams of 18 karat gold artfully wrapped around 35 bright blue sapphires of varying sizes which add up to 11.34 carats total weight. It is additionally set with 45 high luster pearls, white with silvery overtones, these being 2.5 and 6 mm each. The bracelet is 6.5 inches long with a delightfully hidden clasp, it measures 21 mm wide and 8 mm deep.
This bracelet comes with a full independent appraisal, the appraised value is $15,000 USD.

I was dazzled by this glamourous and colorful ring! With its juicy cabochon rubies and rich contrasting emeralds, this is one highly flattering jewel.
Set in 18 karat gold and marked with the French owl mark on the back of the band, I'm not entirely certain what the provenance of this ring is. It's a style that's been copied in more contemporary times, but judging by the wear, marks and craftsmanship of this one I suspect it dates to pre-1950 at least. This is a ring that could use a little bit of love, the shank has a bit of a bend to it that I could ask my jeweler to straighten out upon request. Also, one of the rubies does have a little conical chip out of it, while you can see this in the photos, it's less noticeable on the hand as these photos are very much enlarged to show detail. I forgave it its slight foibles because it's a ring with gorgeous lines, a big show, and a lot to say. Handcrafted in 18 karat gold, I've acid tested it just to be sure, it's a ring that's known a lot of love, and I'm sure it's ready to know some more! It is a size 10.5 and could be resized up or down. A large ring with a big scale, it would look great on a woman or a man, it weighs 9.5 grams.
