Antique 18k Georgian Enamel Pearl and Hair Memorial Ring Dated 1817

Black and white enameling, lustrous natural pearls and beautifully plaited hair complete this wonderful Georgian memorial ring. Inscribed "Jane Vaughan, Obt. 29 Nov. 1817", this fabulous example of Georgian Memorial Jewelry is in excellent condition for a ring nearly two hundred years old. With no lack of detailing the pearls are all collet set, the glass beveled and the shank and shoulders all beautifully carved.

The perfect ring for the collector or just someone who can appreciate the beautifully sentimental, it weighs 4.6 grams and is currently a US size 8. Sizing is possible but would have to be done by laser. The ring has been tested as 18k gold.
