Antique 5 Stone Ruby and Diamond Ring in 18k Gold

I love shopping on Sunday mornings in London. I make my way across London to an antiques fair held in an old conservatory, with high, domed ceilings and a huge glass roof. I stop for a coffee and a pastry and meander the London streets, past cathedrals and pubs, flower shops and soccer fields. Then I step into the old brick building and into the fair as sunlight pours through the roof of the great room and jewels and boxes and piles of silver are lit with fantastic natural light. I found this ring on a Sunday morning in London, bathed in sunlight, these rubies sparkling in the light, please do tell me how I could possibly have resisted bringing it home!

Hand crafted in 18 karat gold, this ring is set with five sparkling rich oval fuchsia rubies interspersed with 8 little rose cut diamonds for some extra sparkle. The rubies add up to about 2 carats total weight. This ring is unmarked but has been carefully acid tested to verify content at 18 karat yellow gold. It was no doubt made in England around 1890. The ring is a size 6 and while it could be easily sized a little bit, a major sizing might not be as easy, do check with me if you're curious as to whether this one could be re-sized to suit you; it weighs 3.7 grams.

I offer layaway on most items purchased for full retail price. In general my layaway terms are 1/3 down and 1/3 in 30 days, and then the last 1/3 in 60 days. I am somewhat flexible so if you are interested please ask me and we can work out a payment plan that suits you. Items ship when payment is complete and items purchased on layaway are eligible for exchange only.

I always want you to be happy with anything you purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason simply let me know and we'll work together to get the item returned for a refund. I guarantee that my photographs and descriptions are as accurate as possible. My goal is always to exceed your best expectations!
