Antique Citrine and Amethyst Gold Bead Necklace

I don’t always go in for beads, so when I do it has to be something that I just can’t resist. Such was the case with this beaded Edwardian beauty. I loved it for its look, for its feel, for its craftsmanship and quality. I figured if I loved it, then you might too!

This hand crafted beaded necklace dates to the early days of the 1900s, and was made in the Edwardian era and style. The necklace is done in 9 karat gold through and connecting each gem, the smokey yellow citrine beads are faceted cubes that graduate from small at the back to largest at the front, and between each is a faceted bead of rich purple amethyst. The necklace is 36 inches around and has no clasp, it weighs 116.3 grams.
