No initials, no family crest, nothing to tell us his name. He left behind only the ring.\u003cbr\u003eHand crafted in Chester in 1903, this handsome Edwardian signet ring is crafted in 9 karat gold and set with an oval, closed back bloodstone measuring 12.3 by 10.5 millimeters. The face of the ring measures 16.6 millimeters north to south, 22 millimeters across and sits 4.2 millimeters off the finger. The band measures 5.5 millimeters wide. It is fully hallmarked with the Chester town mark, “9” and “.375” for 9 karat gold, and the date letter “C” for 1903. The maker’s mark is present but too worn to decipher.
