Things got lighter and airier in the Edwardian Era. Women rebelled against Victorian stodginess and Victorian corsets, under garments changed and over garments changed right along with them. The jewelry reflected this change towards the lighter as well, with thick and solid forms giving way to open work designs, with dark rich colors giving way to the lightest and airiest of hues.
This bracelet is a perfect snapshot in time of the Edwardian passions. It’s got open panels that were hand cut in playful swirls and are set with diamonds, it’s got bezel set round faceted aquamarines of the lightest sky blue. The bracelet measures 7.5 inches long and 10.4 mm wide at the widest point. The bracelet is marked with ’15’ for the gold karat content. This wonderful bracelet contains 4 round faceted aquamarines of 5.2 mm across and 4 mm deep, 0.55 carats each. The diamonds are rose cuts and set in platinum. This bracelet weighs 8.7 grams.
