Antique Edwardian Diamond and Pearl Ring in 18k Gold

It was New Year's Eve. I wore my little black dress, yeah, that one I talk about all the time. My nails were silver and my rings were gold. I know how to look like a stylish disco ball. When he saw me, he bee-lined through the crowded room of black suits and short skirts, to me. He said I was the best looking woman in the room. I smiled because I already knew it, but it's always nice to hear.

This Edwardian gold diamond and pearl ring was handcrafted in England around 1905. Each of the eight white diamonds is about .035 carats or about .25 carats total. On either side of the eight diamonds lies a cluster of three snowy white pearls, six in all. Crafted in 18k gold, this piece has been acid tested. The face is 4.8 x 15 x 3.4 mm off of the finger and it narrows to 1.5 mm at the back of the band. This ring is a size 8.6 and weighs 2.1 grams.

I have yet to find something as classic as diamonds and pearls. Together, they are always a masterpiece.
