Antique Edwardian Enamel Pearl Drop Gold Earrings

There’s something to be said about a woman’s intuition - that it’s always right. Mine sent me into the stall of an antiques dealer at Ardingly in England last spring. That’s where I found these. They weren’t in an obvious place by any means – sitting in a red box beneath a silver beaded flapper dress draped over a chair. I opened that box and my jaw fell to the packed earth floor. The owner said he didn’t recognize theme. I said, “I’ll give you cash.”

These antique Edwardian gold enamel pearl drop earrings were handcrafted in England around 1910. This pair of Arts and Crafts earrings features blue enamel bulbs, one at the top and one at the bottom, with six seed pearls on the conjoining chain. Each earring measures 28.7 x 9 mm and together they weigh 3.2 grams. They have been acid tested as 15 karat gold.

These are sure to make you want to shimmy and shake; they are absolutely divine!
