Antique Edwardian Gold and Citrine Heart Shaped Pendant

This British beauty is set with two sparkling citrine gems the color of rich whiskey. It was hand crafted around 1910 in 9 karat gold, in the typical English fashion. I just love the swoops and shirts and light and airy wirework, so typical of the Edwardian era.

The central citrine is cut in the shape of a heart and the lower drop is a perfectly color-matched oval that is most certainly original to the pendant. This wonderful piece measures 41.6 mm from top to bottom and is 21.7 mm across, it is 10.2 mm deep and is meant to be worn on a black velvet ribbon with the pendant hanging just at the base of the neck. This pendant is marked with ‘9ct’ indicating the gold content and weighs 4.6 grams.

I purchased this lovely pendant at a large fair outside of London.
