Antique French Diamond Semi-Stud Earrings 2.14 cttw

It doesn’t take much these days. Make up is almost a thing of the past and you find you might go more days than you should without a shower. A blouse and a blow dry cover up the fact that you’re wearing stretch pants and pink fluffy slippers and that corner behind you on Zoom is the cleanest part of your whole house. Nope, it doesn’t take much, just a spectacular pair of old cut diamond better-than-stud earrings and a little lip stain and you’re good for the a long day in.

These beauties are perfect for this idea, it’s a pair of French, lever backed diamond earrings, the stones are set in platinum crown mounts and the rest of the earring is in 18 karat gold. This lovely pair has been overhauled by us to make sure that they are in wonderful, wearable, never really have to take them off, condition. The stones were out and weighed, one is a 1.140 carat J color, VS1 stone and the other is a 0.840 carat I color Si1 stone. The earrings have the French eagle’s head marks that were used to assay Parisian jewels of the era. These beauties were made in France in about 1900-1910, during the Belle Epoque, the Beautiful Era. Each diamond is a stunning Old European Cut stone with amazing life and fire.

The earrings are 14.2 mm long and 7.85 mm across and weigh 3.5 grams in total. The tops are set with .12 carats in diamonds for a bit of added sparkle.
