Antique Victorian 3 Stone Diamond Ring in 18k Gold, Hallmarked 1902

She's lovely. You don't see it at first glance, but the second look, that one keeps your eyes glues. It's the strawberry blonde hair in pin curls and chocolate eyes. It's the thick framed rectangular glasses that balance on her nose. It's the freckles that decorate her cheeks and dance upon her nose. She hums when she works, she bites her lip when she's nervous, she mouths the words when she reads.

This Edwardian ring was handcrafted in England in 1902. Three old cut diamonds decorate this 18 karat gold ring. Each diamond is graver set inside of an 8-point star. The center diamond is old European full cut, weighing .03 ct. The two others are twinkling rose cut diamonds. It's hallmarked with a crown for England, '18' for the gold, the Chester mark and the letter 'B,' indicating the year, and a maker's mark that reads, 'JH.' There is a faded mark that reads '4 0 3,' which might be an insurance mark. It is a size 7.5 and weighs 2.1 grams. The ring measures 7.8 mm north to south and narrows to 2.1 mm at the back of the band.

Somehow this ring makes you think of her, more beautiful at second glance. Makes you want to slip it on her delicate finger.
