Antique Victorian 5 Stone Garnet Ring Half Hoop

She woke up early and crept downstairs, she emptied the ashes from the stove, turned on the Christmas lights, lit a fire and put the coffee on. She took the sourdough boule out of the fridge and slid it into the dutch oven to bake. The sounds of Johnny Mathis and crackling wood filled the house, the smell of fir boughs and baking bread filled the air. He wandered down sleep from bed, he hardly ever wore pajamas but he had them on now and she knew he’d wear them all day. She smiled at him and handed him a steaming mug. When he took it he held onto her hand, reached into his pocket and slid a beautiful and sparkling ring of the rosiest garnets onto her finger, it flashed gold and red in the firelight and fat white flakes began to fall.
