Antique Victorian Coral Drop Earrings 18k Gold

She doesn’t usually wear earrings when she lays by the ocean, but these called her name from her jewelry box that morning. They matched the sunrise as she made her way, in her triangle bikini and large woven hat, to the shoreline. She laid flat on her neon beach towel with her romance novel and let the salty air breeze over her skin and curl her hair, she felt at one with the sea.

These antique coral drop earrings were handcrafted around 1870, in England. Each earring holds four orange coral stones that gradate from small to large from top to bottom. The small coral is round in shape and measures 4 mm in diameter. The large bottom  coral is ovular and measures 13 x 8.4 x 6.2 mm. The overall measurements of each earring are 41 x 8.4 x 6.2 mm. The coral is set in 18 karat gold, and these earrings have been acid tested. Together, they weigh 3.9 grams.

Coral isn’t just for the beach, but it sure is a nice excuse to go on holiday!
