Antique Victorian Diamond Solitaire Ring in 18k Gold

When I first started selling jewelry online, I did everything myself, but eventually I got too busy and had to pass some of the duties off onto others.  Now I have a guy who comes once a week to take photos for me, he does a great job with the pictures, but he knows very little about jewelry in general (although he is learning).  The other day he was asking me why some of the diamonds seemed so much more sparkly than others.  ‘The answer’, said I, ‘is clarity.’

This diamond has clarity in spades, and the bright sparkle and rich fire that come along with it.  Gypsy mounted into a weighty and smooth 18 karat gold mounting, the overall effect is a ring with a sure and subtle style, casual and sexy at the same time.  The old European cut diamond is the center of this ring and the star of the show, it measures 4 mm across and 3 mm deep and weighs about .4 carats, it is an extremely white and clean stone.  The ring is marked with ’18ct’ inside the band and is a size 8.5 US, I think it could be resized a bit up or down.  The ring weighs 6.7 grams.

This wonderful antique ring was most likely made in England around 1890, I purchased it in London.  This one would make a stunning engagement or wedding ring for a woman or a man!

I offer layaway on most items purchased for full retail price. In general my layaway terms are 1/3 down and 1/3 in 30 days and the last 1/3 in 60 days.  I am flexible so if you are interested please ask me and we can work out a payment plan that suits you.  Items ship when payment is complete and items purchased or payments made on layaway are eligible for store credit only.

I always want you to be happy with every aspect of your purchase from my shop.  If you are not completely satisfied for any reason simply let me know and we'll work together to get the item returned for a full refund.  I guarantee that my pictures and descriptions are as accurate as possible.  My goal is to exceed your best expectations!
