This fantastic 7 stone Victorian ring is set with a deep blue central sapphire accented on each side by a trio of sparkling old European cut diamonds. The rich denim blue sapphire measures 4 x 4 x 2 mm and weighs approximately .25 carats. On either side of the center stone are three bright white diamonds that have an estimated total weight of .18 carats. The ring is a size 8.5 US and weighs 4.4 grams. Overall the ring measures 5.9 mm in width, tapering to 2.5 mm at the back of the band, and at 18 mm across it sits 2.7 mm off the finger. This gorgeous Victorian ring is fully hallmarked, and bears the marks for Birmingham, England 1894. It also bears the mark for 18 karat gold as well as the maker's mark "I S & Co" inside the band. Perfectly tailored in a timeless way, this iconic Victorian band would suit well as an engagement ring, right hand ring or stacker. And, re-sizeable within a couple of sizes, would work equally well for a woman or a man.
