Antique Victorian Silver Horseshoe Earrings

The Victorians loved their symbolism, especially good luck charms. Clovers and horseshoes soared in popularity during the later 1800s, right when these earrings were made. Horseshoes were thought to be a source of good luck and protective against evil. Victorians also loved to wear accessories that expressed their hobbies. The wearer of this bauble could easily have been an equestrian rider.

These antique silver horseshoe earrings were handcrafted around 1890 in England. They’re a Victorian era pair of embossed earrings that weigh 2.5 grams and measure 28.5 x 17 mm. They have been acid tested.

Take luck with you wherever you go with these silver horseshoe danglers.
