Art Deco was bold, with it’s swooping lines and contrasty colors, and sparkle on top of sparkle, it’s arguable if there’s ever been age that bold since. Certainly there was never one so gilded, so kissed with optimism and glee. This ring was born then, you can see it, can’t you?
This 1920s ring was hand crafted in platinum with a great eye to style and detail. It is set with a hexagonal cut of dark, black onyx which is fit into a frame ablaze with 24 rose cut diamonds. The onyx itself is set with a .15 carat old European cut diamond in a bezel of platinum. The ring is a size 5.75 and could be resized somewhat to suit, it measures 12.4 mm north to south and 13.5 mm across and sits 5.2 mm off the finger. This ring bears no hallmarks, but we’ve acid tested it as platinum, it weighs 3.2 grams.
For a holiday favorite, for some party bling, for anytime you need a little something to make your eyes happy, this Art Deco beauty is there for you.
