Art Deco Platinum Diamond Eternity Band Ring Wedding Size 7

I have a wedding band quite like this one. My husband slipped it on my finger while we stood on a beach in the Bahamas, with the sun shining over bright blue water, waves breaking on the beach below us. Ten years later he added another one, just to keep things up to date, then ten more flew by somehow and now I have three. Can’t wait to have 5, wonder if I’ll make it to 6? 7? 8? Might need another finger.

This hand crafted platinum and diamond eternity band has likely been a wedding band once or twice or more before. It carries all those promises of love with it, and it would be happy to add one more and maybe even a few more after that. Some people might call it an instant heirloom, some might.

It’s a size 7 eternity band which was made around 1920, and while it’s engraved edges have been somewhat smoothed out by time, it’s still shows some of the old pattern on its sides. This ring is set with 20 full cut diamonds which average 2.5x2.5x1.6 mm and weigh approximately .06 carats each for a total ring weight of 1.2 carats. This ring measures 3.4 mm wide all the way around and weighs 3.7 grams. It is marked outside the band with the word ‘PLAT’ for platinum.

This sparkly beauty has enough panache to stand up its own, but stack it with a few more for even panache.
