Art Deco Sterling Silver Baby Cup, English Dated 1926

     This sterling silver baby's cup or Christening cup has such strong Art Deco lines, it could almost be the Empire State!

     Marked for Birmingham, 1926, with the maker's mark 'H.J&G' for Hobson, James & Gilby.  It measures 3 inches high, 2 1/4 inches across at the top and 2 5/8 inches across at the bottom, the beautiful and very sturdy handle sticks out 1 inch and is 2 and 5/8 inches high.  It is in wonderful condition, I don't see any dings or dents.  It is 8 sided and every other side is engrave with a series of pin stripes.  

     Would make an excellent baby gift.  What a lucky baby, to have this gift from you!
