Three bright orange carnelian cabochons sit in smooth bezel settings, framed by pierced silver panels with gently hammered surfaces. The larger central panel tapers to a point beneath an applied foliate detail, while two curved side panels follow the neckline, joined by elongated silver links. Founded in 1912 by Hungarian silversmiths Edmund Boker and Ernest Gould, the workshop used the maker’s mark seen here between 1918 and 1934. Discovered in England and brought back across the Atlantic, the necklace weighs 16.23 grams and bears the marks “HAND MADE,” “STERLING” and the workshop’s distinctive monogram.
