Arts and Crafts Silver Garnet Pendant Liberty Attrib

If you’ve never been to the sprawling Tudor Revival building that takes up the block between Regent, Carnaby and Great Marlborough Streets in London, then you really should add it to your bucket list. Even if you’re not much of a shopper, the over 40,000 square feet of Liberty and Company’s department store is a sight to be seen, and if you are a shopper, well, watch out!

Liberty has always been known for having its own brands, and for providing an outlet for the art of English designers of the day. This Arts and Crafts pendant was designed by Liberty, you couldn’t find it there these days, but it you were stopping by in 1910, you could have bought it for yourself right there at the jewelry counter on the first floor. The beautiful silver pendant is hand crafted and set with a sparkling rosy garnet gem. The pendant measures 40 mm north to south and 28 mm across and weighs 5.1 grams. This pendant is unmarked, it is attributed to Liberty and tests as sterling silver.
