Edwardian 5 Stone Diamond Ring 18k Gold Hallmarked 1901

Women have always looked good in diamonds. Men, too, for that matter. Something about the way that they sparkle just draws the eye back to them over and over. They give off different flash in different light, by sunshine or candle light. A ring like this one is made to highlight just one thing, diamonds.

Sometimes called a boat ring because it’s shaped a bit like a hull, this lively, hand crafted diamond ring is a treat for the eyes. Set with 5 graduated old European cut diamonds that add up to .75 carats in total weight. The ring is fully hallmarked and also inscribed. It has hallmarks for ’18’ the gold content, an anchor for Birmingham, a b for year 1901 and a makers mark, ‘L&L’. It’s inscribed with ‘GJ to MK 22/9/02’ inside the band. The ring measures 5.7 mm north to south and 16.2 mm across at the face, it sits 3.5 mm off the finger and narrows to 2.4 mm at the back of the band. The ring is a size 10.5 and weighs 3.5 grams.

This wonderful, sparkly ring could rock it out alone or be worn stacked with a few others!
