Edwardian Scrolling 5 Diamond Ring 1916

I love rings, for a time I even though about buying and selling nothing but rings, but as it turns out, I also love earrings and pendants and bangles and brooches, I even love handbags and vases and candelabras. So, I buy and I sell much more than rings, but I still love them, and it still makes me happy when I find a ring as lovely as this one!

This fantastic 5 stone diamond ring was hand crafted in Birmingham, England in 1916 of 18 karat gold. It is set with five transitional cut diamonds which add up to 0.25 carats. The winking diamonds are set into a fabulously styled ring of glowing yellow gold, the swirling waves surround the diamonds and the swooping shape gives the whole ring such life and movement. This ring measures 8.6 mm from north to south and at the face and narrows to 2 mm at the back of the band. It has hallmarks for 18 karat gold, a makers mark of A.W.C. & Co., and a crown for England. This stylish ring is a size 6 and weighs 3.1 grams.
