Edwardian Zoltan White Necklace, Bracelet, Earrings and Brooch Set Silver Multi Gems

This four-piece set is a fun find! A complete parure by the the famed designer Zoltan White, whose work is highly sought after. There’s no need to wear all of these fabulous pieces at once, try a brooch with a bracelet for a casual ensemble, or the earrings with the necklace for a little date night fun. The colors are light and fresh, reminding me of springtime flowers, or city lights in the summer.

This antique four-piece set was handcrafted before 1912, in England, by Zoltan White. It includes a pair of stud earrings, a brooch, a bracelet, and a drop necklace. All together these pieces weigh 95 grams. They’re made up of green peridot, purple amethysts, and yellow citrines, all set in silver. Each piece is beautifully done with flower accents and swirling silver details that continue onto the backside of each piece.

The 15.5-inch necklace contains 31 round faceted peridots, along with two pear-cut peridots, two citrine hearts, and two amethyst hearts. The front of the necklace measures 44 x 46 mm. It’s marked, “MADE IN ENGLAND”, “SILVER”, “Z.W.&Co”, “E.N.B”, and “MEA 1912”.

The 6.5-inch bracelet measures 31.4 mm in height at the front. It’s made up of two citrine hearts, two amethyst hearts, two pear-cut peridots, and 15 round-cut peridots. It’s marked, “MADE IN ENGLAND”, “SILVER”, “Z.W.&Co”, “E.N.B”, and “MEA 1912”.

The oval brooch measures 31.4 x 45 mm. It features two citrine hearts, two amethyst hearts, six round-cut peridots, and two pear-cut peridots. It’s marked, “MADE IN ENGLAND”, “SILVER”, “Z.W.&Co”, “E.N.B”, “T I”, and “MEA 1912”.

The round earrings each measure 18 mm in diameter. They’re both marked, “SILVER” on the screw backs and are made up of four round amethysts, one citrine heart, and four round peridots on each piece.

Zoltan White was born in Hungary. He trained in Budapest for jewelry making and began his firm, Zoltan White & Co., in England. His business operated from around 1910 to the 1940s. His work has a clear Austro-Hungarian feel, given his background and childhood experiences, although he was part of the British Arts and Crafts tradition.
