I have an admitted weakness for French rings and this one had all the things I like best! I love a long ring first of all, add in some mixed metals and top it off with a sparkling diamond and I’m a happy girl.
This hand crafted ring was made in France around 1900. It is an 18 karat gold ring with platinum accents at the shoulders and platinum holding the diamonds. The center stone is a 3.5 mm rose cut and at the top and bottom are two creamy white pearls. This ring measures 16.4 mm north to south and 12 mm across, ti sits 3.9 mm off the finger and narrows to 2 mm at the back of the band. The ring is hallmarked at the back with the French eagles head mark which shows that it is made in 18 karat gold. This twist style ring is a size 7.5 and weighs 2.1 grams.
