Gold Cased Engraved Bloodstone Fob Locket with Cross

Handcrafted in about 1880, this very Victorian piece has combined thee different jewels into one. The spinner watch fob, the locket and the cross all come together in this wonderful jewel. One side of the spinner is set with a smooth oval of green bloodstone with red flecks, the other is an oval of gold engraved with a cross and olive branch, both held with a simple golden frame. Once a watch fob, this beauty would make a fabulous pendant and has two framed sections inside to hold your photos or mementos.

This wonderful piece measures 34 mm top to bottom including the bale and 29 mm across, it’s 6.1 mm thick and weighs 8.2 grams. This piece is gold cased, which means that the inner parts are metal and there is a heavy layer of gold placed on the outside.
