High Domed Antique Edwardian Moonstone Solitaire Ring 18k Gold

A solitary high doomed cabochon moonstone, held lovingly by twelve prongs of 18 karat gold in this simple yet most certainly sophisticated ring is the perfect expression of that timeless sentiment. This beautiful moonstone has wonderful blue adularescence and measures 11.5 x 11.5x 9.8 mm making it a notable 9.27 carats in weight by formula. The face of this ring measures 12.3 mm from north to south and 13 mm across, it sits 11.3 mm off the finger and a band width of 2.5 mm. This size 6 ring but could be easily be resized upon request. It was almost certainly made in England right around the turn of the century, and has an 18k gold hallmark, but has also been carefully acid tested to verify the gold content. It also has another mark which is most likely a maker's mark but cannot be fully made out. Most important of all, timeless elegance and sophistication are the true hallmarks represented here in the beauty of refined design and Edwardian craftsmanship.
