Large Victorian Carnelian Gold Ring

Like orange sherbet on a hot day, like the rich glow of a setting sun, like leaves in autumn; this fantastic and juicy slice of carnelian, polished smooth and gleaming, is enough to make your mouth water and delight your eyes.

Hand crafted around 1900, this wonderful ring was made in England and has tons of style. Set with eight sets of split prongs, this wonderfully variegated piece of stone measures 22 x 17 x 4.25 mm. The ring is a size 8.25 US and is crafted in 9 karat gold with a mark of ‘9ct’. The ring weighs 5 grams.

This large scale ring may well have been made for a man, but would be equally handsome on a lady.
