This wonderful mid-Victorian ruby and pearl ring was handcrafted in England between 1850 and 1860. Deep red oval faceted rubies are the stars of this ring, three in all. The center ruby measures from 4.7 x 3 mm, while the two outer rubies measure 3.7 x 2.7 mm. Two matching white half pearls, spaced perfectly between the rubies complete the design. The shoulders of the ring boast a lovely floral design that flows gracefully into a hand engraved pattern that runs all the way around the band. This ring bears no hallmarks, but has been professionally acid tested and is made entirely in 18k gold. The face of this ring measures 5.7 mm from north to south, 15.4 mm from east to west, and sits 4 mm off the finger. It is a size 7 and weighs 2.3 grams.
