I was taken in by the beguiling gem at the heart of this fabulous solitaire ring. It shimmers and sparkles with every move of the hand. The color changes from richest orange to salmon pink and back again depending on the light of the day.
This hand crafted estate ring is fully hallmarked and was made in Birmingham, England in 2006, practically a baby by my standards! The lovely setting has two little leaves on either side of the four prong mounted stone. The stone itself measures 9.1x7.2x5.4 mm and weighs approximately 2.85 carats. This is a wonderfully clean stone with just one small feather inclusion visible with magnification. The ring is marked with the marks for Birmingham, England, 2006, and 18 karat (white) gold. The ring is a size 6.25 US and could be re-sized to suit.
This bright and lively ring would make a stunning engagement ring for anyone looking for an alternative to a diamond.

This amazing Edwardian sapphire and diamond cross was made in England in approximately 1910. It features 6 old European cut diamonds, 38 rose cut diamonds and 5 gorgeous old cut sapphires. All silver set, the open work front has a soft, ethereal design which accentuates the stones as well as the overall form.
The back is done in 18k gold and gives this superb jewel a heft that belies it's delicate craftsmanship. Though it bears no marks the cross tests as silver and 18k gold. It weighs 5.4 grams, measures 2 .625 inches by 1.5 inches and is in excellent condition.
An amazing gift for the holidays or the perfect addition to any collection of antique jewelry or religious items!

The English would call this a by-pass ring, but the French have a much better name, the ‘Toi et Moi’, the ‘you and me’ ring.
This one is hand crafted with a lovely bright blue sapphire at it’s center and enough diamond sparkles to make the stars just a little jealous. The sapphire is a bold, vivid color, cut in a squarish oval, it measures 4.9x11.3x3.6 mm and weighs about .38 carats. Beside the center stone, the you and me diamonds are wonderful old European cuts which are bright and white and weigh .3 carats in total. The ring is set with an additional 14 rose cut diamonds. The ring was a bit dirty when photographed (shame on us) and the rose cuts appear much darker than they really are. This ring is marked with a makers mark that I can’t make out and the ‘18ct’ mark for 18 karat gold. The ring is a size 9.25 US and could be re-sized a bit, please inquire with your size and I’ll let you know if it can be done. The ring measures 7 mm north to south and 11.3 mm across, it weighs 3.7 grams.
This bright and sparkly ring has a decidedly romantic feel. It was made in England around 1880-90.

This stunning sapphire and diamond ring would make the perfect gift or a very special treat for anyone who loves antique jewelry!
