Queen Victoria Portrait Black Enamel Diamond Gold Memorial Pendant

$ 5,600.00

– Sold Out
This rare antique Queen Victoria pendant was handcrafted in England in 1901, to memorialize the late Queen’s 63 year and 7-month reign. She was born in May of 1819, and died on January 22nd, in 1901. A thickly beveled navette rock crystal is set in 15 karat rose gold, and is bordered in black enamel which is studded with 11 winking rose cut diamonds. This crystal magnifies a round image of Queen Victoria, and bears the years of her reign written in black, “1837-1901”. It is in excellent condition, probably owing to it's having always lived in its box. It comes in its original fitted brown jewelry box, which bears the following words, ‘Carrington & Co., to H.M. the Queen and Princess of Wales, 130 Regent St W’.

She left a legacy that few in history will ever have.
