Scottish Moss Agate Gold Pendant

I am not ashamed to admit that I bought this fantastic pendant mostly because of the bale. It’s a beautiful and smooth piece of moss agate and don’t get me wrong, I loved that too, but it was the bale that really got me in the feels. I mean, come on, look at it, it’s fabulous. I suspect you might buy it for the same reason I did, cool, classic, and oh, that bale. Sexy.

This hand crafted, hand carved, smooth oval of moss agate is set with a golden ring and hangs from that fantastic bale of carved stone. The pendant is 63 mm long and 36 mm wide, it weighs 19 grams. Stunning in its simplicity of design, fancy in the plainest and most beautiful way. Made in England in about 1890, she’s Victorian, for sure, likely the moss agate comes from the Scurr hills of Scotland.
