People with a passion for music and art from all over the West would flock to Paris during the 1920s. In France there was no such thing as Prohibition, they could drink to their hearts content, and they could hold hands as they strolled the cobbled streets. Without realizing it, they created the New Generation, a phrase coined by none other than F. Scott Fitzgerald. It was the Jazz Age, filled with vivacity and change. It was Paris at its Parisianist. It’s where Art Deco originated and where and when this ring was created.

This vintage Art Deco silver signet ring was handcrafted during the 1920s, in France. It’s a classy piece with a geometric shape. The face is 12 mm north to south, 18.5 mm across and sits 3 mm off the finger, it narrows to 4.4 mm at the back of the band. It bears the French crab hallmark, which means it was assayed in Clermont-Ferrand. It also has a maker’s mark and has been acid tested. It weighs 9.6 grams and is a size 8.75.

This is a simple and charming ring, handsome enough for a man, strong enough for a woman.
