Victorian 5 Stone Diamond Ring Stacking Engagement Wedding

Someone will ask you about this. With all that sparkle and flash there’s no way of avoiding it. What you tell them is up to you. What will your story be with it. Was it hanging on the tree on Christmas morning, waiting for you at the bottom of a glass of champagne? Dunno, that’s for you to say. All I’m saying is, someone will ask.

This five stone Diamond ring was hand crafted in the Victorian era. It’s done all in 18 karat gold except for the diamonds, those are set in silver. This style of ring, sometimes called a ‘boat’ ring for the shape of its hull, makes for excellent stacking, it plays quite nicely with others. This ring is set with 5 old European cuts which when measured in their settings add up to 0.40 carats in diamonds. The face of this ring measures 4.1 mm north to south and 14.6 mm across, it sits 3.4 mm off the finger and narrows to 1.6 mm at the back of the band. This size 6.25 ring weighs 3.5 grams, it’s marked with ’18ct’.
