Victorian Black Enamel Pearl 18k Gold Ring Memorial

After a year of deep mourning when the proper Victorian lady would wear nothing but black, she might decide to add a little bit of white to her wardrobe. A ring like this would be perfect for the next year and half, until she could begin wearing color again.

This antique Victorian ring was hand crafted around 1841, it has marks showing that it was made of 18 karat gold in Birmingham, England in 1870. The ring measures 6.3 mm north to south and narrows to 2.3 mm at the back fo the band. This ring is set with 7 pearls, it is a size 7.35 and weighs 2.9 grams.
