Victorian Citrine Gold Riviere Necklace

It’s the essence of the décolletage. Take a closer look, can’t you see the whimsy? Can’t you feel the glamour? There’s something luminous about citrines against the skin, like luscious little fruits dangling ripe, ready to be picked. Now it’s draped around your neck, persistent in its shimmer and surprisingly light to the touch. It’s a thing of legend, and it will make you glow.

This Victorian citrine necklace was handcrafted in England around 1890. It showcases a chain of juicy citrines with five dropped stones at the front. There are 28 citrines in all, with the largest stone measuring 9.8 x 7.4 x 5.4 mm and weighing approximately 2.08 carats, and the smallest stone measuring 5.3 x 3.9 x 3.5 mm and weighing approximately .38 carats. This stunning necklace measures 15.75 inches in length and weighs 11.6 grams. It bears the hallmark, “1/20 14 K GF”. “GF” means gold filled, and this marking is just for the clasp, we’ve acid tested it just to be sure.

Nobody does it better than citrine and its soft radiance of citrus and whiskey. Make her Holiday wishes come true with this undeniably beautiful necklace that matches the sunset. Leave it in a box with a bow in her stocking, or draped on a tree branch for her to discover.
